Get “Over The Influence” with New Alcohol-Free Community!
We make podcasts. In fact, we make really good podcasts – even if we do say so ourselves. And from one of those really good podcasts, something exciting has been born!
If you’ve ever listened to Over The Influence, you’ll know it’s all about the joys of alcohol free life. But obviously it’s not all joyful, sometimes it’s really hard to give up alcohol and you can you feel left out, especially if you’re the only person in your social circle doing it.
Shazza, Freddie & Ben talk about all aspects of ‘AF life’ on the podcast but felt like they could do more to bring people together to support each other on their journeys of quitting the booze, however far along that journey they may be. And that’s where the Over The Influence community comes in!
Launching today (Monday 19th July), the Over The Influence community has been a long time in the making. Shazza, Freddie & Ben wanted to make sure it was perfect before inviting people to join, and what better day to launch than so-called Freedom Day, or as they have been calling it… Alcohol Freedom Day!
Whilst everyone’s obsessing about parties, festivals and heading to the beer garden, what if you’ve decided alcohol isn’t for you any more? What if you’ve decided that alcohol is having a negative effect on your life and you’d like to see what life would be like without it, how you could feel and what you could achieve? Over The Influence aims to create a safe, fun place for like-minded individuals to chat, get helpful advice and generally feel good about life together. Oh, and there’s a swanky new premium podcast in there too that’s exclusive to Over The Influence members!
For a small monthly fee or annual fee, members get access to a weekly events schedule, Zoom sessions, discussion boards, groups and guest talks from some of the biggest names in the alcohol free world. And for the first time members will be able to watch the Over The Influence podcast being recorded live on Zoom, with the chance to put their questions directly to fabulous AF guests!
And that’s just the beginning…
Over time, Shazza, Freddie & Ben see the Over The Influence community growing to make lifelong friendships and support networks as alcohol free people connect across the world with the social networking side of the community platform - members can build their profile, follow other members, message them and start group chats to support each other and celebrate each other’s alcohol free milestones.
It's going to be exciting to see how big something can get that has grown organically from three friends sitting down deciding to make a podcast together. We think the sky’s the limit in podcast land, and hopefully the Over The Influence community will prove just that!
