New Podcast Launch: The Construction Index

Sound Rebel are excited to announce that we have been commissioned to produce a weekly podcast on behalf of The Construction Index, the leading information source for the construction and building industry.

The Construction Index’s print magazine has by far the most experienced editorial team of any UK construction industry publication, with almost a century of service between them. The team also provide a daily news service, regularly updating news and views articles on their website – www.theconstructionindex.co.uk.

We have worked with The Construction Index to create a podcast format that showcases the expertise of the journalists who work there with a weekly discussion-based format.

In Re:Construction, David Taylor (Editor of The Construction Index Magazine) and Phil Bishop (Online Editor) discuss the three biggest news stories from the construction industry that week and offer their expert insights on each one.

The discussion format allows the podcast to complement the brand’s existing content whilst building a weekly returning audience who trust David and Phil’s opinions on the topics they cover. It also allows them to feature guests when it is relevant to do so.

Sound Rebel will create the music for the podcast, we will provide voiceover production to rotate call-to-action messages at the end of the podcast, and we will provide regular ongoing production both on each recording and in the post-production with podcast sound mastering and podcast editing.

We will also distribute Re:Construction so that it can be listened to on all of the major podcast apps, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
