New Podcast Launch: Over The Influence

We are delighted to announce the launch of a new original podcast production on the Sound Rebel network as Sharon Hartley and Freddie Bennett team up to present the alcohol-free podcast, Over The Influence!

BBC Lancashire presenter Sharon Hartley and Guinness World Record Breaker Freddie Bennett both saw their lives change when they decided to give up alcohol. Over The Influence is a podcast for people who are on – or who are considering – an alcohol-free lifestyle and the first of ten episodes will be released on Thursday 19th March.

We all know that alcohol isn’t good for us, and most of us have fibbed to the doctor whenever we’ve been asked how many units of alcohol we consume every week. But even though we know it’s bad for us, giving up alcohol can still come with a bit of social stigma or incorrect assumptions – for example, that the person giving up alcohol must be doing so because they’ve had a problem with it. 

Over The Influence hopes to change this perception – giving up alcohol can change your life, no matter how much of it you drink at the moment. 

Sharon & Freddie are real people who are open and honest about their alcohol-free journeys. They’re not experts and they don’t have medical degrees - but they do have real life experience and want to help as many people as possible who want to change their relationship with alcohol.
