Podcast News: Sound Rebel to Produce Daily Podcasts During Lockdown

With the UK going in to a national lockdown, we are excited to announce that a number of our current podcast productions will be going daily for the duration of the lockdown period – and we will also be creating a new daily podcast too!

Dilemmas with Jess Ellis is the first podcast production that Sound Rebel launched in January 2020, and has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times. Whereas the normal format of the podcast features three of our listeners’ dilemmas in each episode, Daily Dilemmas will feature one listener problem every day which directly relates to their experience in lockdown. Guests for the lockdown series include Mandip Gill from Dr Who, stand-up comedians Nathan Caton, Stephen Bailey, Jayde Adams and Brennan Reece, and Kelli Hollis from Emmerdale and Shameless.

A Girl & A Gay In The Gym, our health and fitness podcast production, will also be going daily for the duration of lockdown with Hattie Jeffreys (The Gym Bird) and Richie Swan offering a shot of daily motivation with episodes released at 6am every morning. Hattie and Richie will speak honestly about their experiences of lockdown, they’ll share tips on the best way to look after your body and mind during such a strange period, and most importantly they’ll be delivering it all with their normal Scouse sense of humour!

Hattie and Richie have also lined up a brilliant guest for this daily series, with Kate Thornton (TV presenter and host of the brilliant podcast White Wine Question Time) coming on the podcast to talk about keeping fit during lockdown.

Finally, Sound Rebel will be launching a brand new podcast production for lockdown – a feel good format called Give Me Some Good News with stand-up comedian Nathan Caton, which we’ll be revealing more information about soon!

All of this is made possible because we are able to record podcasts remotely with contributors participating in a podcast whilst still sticking to the rules of staying at home. We have been recording podcasts remotely for months as a number of the podcasts we produce feature contributors from across the world – we can recommend the best equipment to use and are well-versed in the best recording methods to make it sound as if podcast participants are still in the same room, even though they’re recording from different locations.

If you’d like to talk to us about producing a podcast remotely for you during lockdown, then we’d love to hear from you. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please subscribe to Dilemmas with Jess Ellis and A Girl & A Gay In The Gym now to receive their daily lockdown episodes straight to your phone!

Sound Rebel is a podcast production company in Liverpool. We produce professional podcasts for clients in the North West and remotely across the UK. Talk to us about starting a podcast for you – email hello@soundrebel.co.uk
