New Podcast Launch: Fitness Industry Insiders
Sound Rebel are excited to announce a new branded podcast project with health and fitness industry veterans Karl Frew and Steve Watson called Fitness Industry Insiders!
As is the case with many industries, lots of things are currently changing for the independent fitness industry – they face the challenge of not being able to deliver sessions or classes to clients or members in their normal way as gyms and fitness centres have been forced to close due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Karl and Steve both run fitness businesses and have fifty years of experience in the industry between them, and they approached Sound Rebel to help them to create a format which will help their peers and colleagues by offering advice and guidance during this difficult time.
Sound Rebel have helped Karl and Steve to develop this podcast from the very beginning. We helped them to come up with the right name, we worked together to devise the format, and as well as developing the podcast with ongoing production support we are also creating bespoke podcast music, editing the podcast, and distributing Fitness Industry Insiders so that it can be listened to on all of the major podcast apps including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
Often the simplest formats are the best ones, and in Fitness Industry Insiders Karl and Steve will invite an expert guest on to every podcast to talk about the changing face of independent fitness and to discuss the inspirational ideas that are reinventing the way we exercise.
Guests lined up for the first series include Sue Wilkie and Brett Pearson from EMD UK (the National Governing Body for Group Exercise) to talk about what they’re doing to help independent fitness businesses navigate the pandemic, Andy Pickles from the Music Factory Entertainment Group will talk about using royalty-free music in online workouts, and Andrew Crawford from Fitness Industry Accountants will discuss the different packages of financial support that are available to listeners.
The International Fitness Showcase – one of the biggest events in the UK’s fitness calendar – will also be moving online this year and Fitness Industry Insiders will feature exclusive interviews with the organisers and presenters a week before their first ever virtual event.
We believe that creating new podcast brands is one of our biggest strengths at Sound Rebel, and are really proud of our work on Fitness Industry Insiders.
