New Podcast Launch: RLI Talks

Sound Rebel are excited to announce that we have been commissioned to produce a weekly podcast on behalf of Retail & Leisure International called RLI Talks!

Retail & Leisure International are proud to be one of the industry’s most recognisable brands, the RLI name synonymous for connecting the world of retail and leisure. Over the past 15 years they have become far more than a magazine and are keen to continually develop their content to become a truly multi-platform brand.

We have worked with the team at RLI to create an interview-based format to connect the world of retail and leisure at a time when it has never felt more divided as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. The podcast will feature interviews with well-recognised retailers and leisure operators from across the globe to enhance the reputation of RLI as a global brand, and to provide the RLI audience with information about the pandemic and how it’s affecting different retail and leisure markets around the world.

The podcast will launch with Jayne Rafter, the Publisher of RLI, speaking to retail giant Theo Paphitis about how he plans to navigate his retail brands through the pandemic.

Future guests include Chris Browne (the co-founder of Ted Baker), Manju Malhotra (the COO of Harvey Nichols), Marcello Distefano (Managing Director of the San Carlo Restaurant Group), Mohamed Elsarky (President and CEO of Godiva Chocolatier), Roger Wade (CEO and Founder of Boxpark) and Colm McLoughlin (Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free).

“I had been thinking about hosting a dedicated industry podcast for a while and when the pandemic struck it seemed the perfect way to stay connected globally,” said Jayne Rafter. “Sound Rebel are a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to clients - they are super responsive, efficient, provide great input, offer a high quality of service and sound quality and above all they make everything stress free and affordable.”

Sound Rebel will create the music for the podcast, we will provide voiceover production to rotate call-to-action messages at the end of the podcast, and we will provide regular ongoing production both on each recording and in the post-production with podcast sound mastering and podcast editing.

We will also distribute RLI Talks so that it can be listened to on all of the major podcast apps, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
